Wah Gwan has a unique mixture of cooking techniques, flavors, spices, and influences from Jamaica and Nigeria. Wah Gwan uses the two worlds popular dishes to highlight its rich culture and history through food. Our cooking technique is a healthy approach to eating a home cooked cultural meal. The food was Amazing!! We went for my cousins birthday. The music was perfect. The staff was attentive and patient, as this was our first time eating here. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for a great experience. We all will be back.
Great jerk chicken and I tried the skewer for the first time and if was very full of flavor! People were very nice and service was swift. As far as decor they had me with the giant painting of Fela Kuti and his horn!
We had some great carry out. The jerk chicken and oxtail dinners were tasty and tender. We loved the two kinds of rice as well. The servings were enough for leftovers tomorrow. Next time we'll try the goat curry.
yum I have only had Jamaican food a few times in my life but this blew me outta the water! We got beef patty, jerk chicken, oxtail and a pink ting (grapefruit soda). The meat comes w rice and peas, cabbage and corn bread. Bruhhhhhhh!!!! Fire.
